This auction is for a letter from Vampire Clan ringleader Roderick Justin Ferrell. Ferrell was part of group of teenagers from Kentucky who called themselves the Vampire Clan. On 11/25/1996, while the group was on a road trip, Rodrick "Rod" Ferrell, and accomplice Howard Anderson, murdered a couple in Florida. The entire group ended up getting arrested and charged. Rodrick Ferrell was sentenced to death, later reduced to life. Howard Anderson was sentenced to life. Despite little-to-no knowledge or participation in the actual murders travel companions Charity Keesee received 10 years, Dana Lynn Cooper received 17.5 years. Both women have since paroled.
