Roch Theriault orginal 5.5 x 7 Acrylic painting from 2007
This painting in acrylic and ink is his way of representing himself and wife Solange Boilard whom he murdered accidentily trying to save her. In his mind he was going to cut her open and pull her intestines and wash it with pure alcohol as she was having repeated stomac pains.
According to Roch the procedure didnt go as plan and she lost tremendous blood and he lost her...she had died.
In the movie The Savage Messiah you can see him just as he did wearing a necklace eveyday after that until he was caught with one of Solange's rib bone.
A very disturbing and significative painting.
Roch Theriault remained very private and low profile in prison. Didnt write many people beaide family and didnt give interviews for decates. He passed away in prison and was found stabbed in 2011.
