Charles “Bobo” Rowland is a convicted murderer. He was found guilty of killing Fred and Peggy White during a burglary of their home. The couple was found shot to death a quarter mile from their Twiggs County, Georgia property. Rowland was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Since his arrest, Rowland has implicated himself in at least nine other murders across the state of Georgia. He started admitting to other murders in Georgia during 20 hours of interviews with investigators. He told investigators he bludgeoned three people to death in a boarding house in Bibb County in 2020. He also claimed responsibility for a killing in Atlanta as well as two unsolved shootings in Macon. He also claimed to have stomped another person to death in Macon.
Most of the murders appear to have happened in the last five years and the motive was robbery. Twiggs County Sheriff Darren Mitchum described Rowland as very cold and not very remorseful about anything.

Convicted murderer Charles "Bobo" Rowland has been connected to several killings in Georgia. This is a synopsis of the data that is at hand:
Background: Charles "Bobo" Rowland was convicted for the murder of Fred and Peggy White, a well-known couple in Macon, Georgia. The couple was found shot to death a quarter mile from their Twiggs County property.
Conviction and Sentence: Rowland was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the double homicide.
Additional Confessions:
During the investigation, Rowland confessed to at least nine other murders across the state.
He admitted to bludgeoning three people to death in a boarding house in Bibb County in 2020.
Rowland also claimed responsibility for a killing in Atlanta and two unsolved shootings in Macon.
He allegedly stomped another person to death in Macon.
Previous Criminal Record: According to Georgia prison records, Rowland served 12 years for aggravated assault against a police officer and 15 years for armed robbery in Bibb County. His incarcerations were from June 1990 to July 1999 and from November 2001 to April 2013.
Investigation Insights: Twiggs County Sheriff Darren Mitchum described Rowland as "very cold" and not very remorseful about his actions. The motive for most of the murders appears to have been robbery.
Current Status: As of the last reports, Rowland has not been charged with the additional murders he confessed to, but the Bibb County district attorney's office is looking into his claims.
