Theodore Robert Bundy single hair strand from his execution in 1989

This auction is for a single hair size 1 to 2 cm obtained from a deal between 2 guards and transiting with Gerard Schaefer and a collector. This original letter with the hairs bagged and tapped to this original written letter by Gerard Schaefer explains how they were shaved at his execution day on the 24th of January 1989.

It’s a great true crime relic and the original hairs with this exact handwritten letter are in our personnal collection.

Ted Bundy’s hairs were divided and sold by Gerard Schaefer and less of a handful groups in existence. Most probably 3 groups bagged up like this one exists with slight variations in the way the letter was written by Schaefer.

This is a rare opportunity to obtain Ted’s DNA…and hair from his final day alive. The hair will be numbered and be unique, enjoy!
