Description

This auction is for a letter from deceased Illinois serial killer Dorothy Williams (12/24/1954 - 12/19/2020). Between 1987 and 1989, Dorothy Williams beat, stabbed, and strangled three elderly victims. She was arrested on 9/6/1989 and convicted of capital murder, receiving a death sentence. Dorothy Williams then plead guilty to two additional murders. Her death sentence would be commuted to life in 2003 along with the rest of Illinois death row. Dorothy Williams passed from Covid-19 on 12/19/2020. She was 65.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: The handmade card measures roughly 8.25"×4.25" when closed and is signed, "Dot." missive is one page and signed, "Dot." The original mailing envelope is postmarked 8/3/2006.
