This auction is for a card and envelope set from deceased serial killer Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer (5/21/1960 - 11/18/1994), also known as the Milwaukee Cannibal or the Milwaukee Monster. Between 1978 and 1991, Jeffery Dahmer would murder at least 17 young men and boys. The case would captivate the world as the tales of necrophilia and cannibalism made the nightly news. Jeffery Dahmer would be convicted of multiple murders in the states of Wisconsin and Ohio, receiving multiple life terms. On 11/28/1994, Jeffery Dahmer would be assaulted by fellow inmate Christopher Scarver and died as a result of his injuries. He was 34. Jeffery Dahmer continues to draw public interest and is one of the most celebrated cases in United States history.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: The Christmas card and envelope are both completely handwritten. The card is signed, "J.D." The original mailing envelope is postmarked 12/23/1993, Jeffery's last Christmas, with a prison stamp on the reverse.
