Description

This auction is for a letter from Washington two-time murderer Robert Parker. In 1995, Robert Parker bound, gagged, raped, robbed, and murdered two women before setting their homes on fire. The murders took place a month apart. After his arrests his lawyers argued they simply had the wrong man. The jury didn't buy that story and Parker would be convicted. He would be sentenced to life without the possibility of parole in 1999 when the jury deadlocked on the death penalty. Investigation Discovery profiled the case on their Nightmare Next Door series in an episode titled, "Double Murder Inferno."

ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is five pages on five sheets, dated 8/18/2005, and is signed, "Robert." The original mailing envelope is postmarked 8/19/2005.
