Ralph Allan Lee Shortey (born 1982) is an American politician who began his political career in 2002 and was elected to the Oklahoma Senate in 2010. senator and businessman Ralph Allan Lee Shortey, a Republican Party
member, served until 2017. He represented the 44th district in
Oklahoma and was known for his hard-line views on immigration and
social issues. Shortey sponsored proposals related to limiting
abortion and tightening immigration regulations based on his
political beliefs. In 2017, he was accused of a number of serious
felonies, including child sex trafficking and the production of child
pornography. Prosecutors accused Shortey of using the social media
app Kik, representing himself by the name of “Jamie Tilley”, the
previous day to offer a gay rent boy money in exchange for sex.
