Description
The auction is for an envelope from deceased former Panama dictator and cocaine distributor Manuel Antonio Noriega Moreno (2/11/1934 - 5/29/2017). Manuel Noriega was a CIA informant, but his use quickly dried up and his was indicted on racketeering, narcotics, and money laundering charges in 1988. He would be arrested during the 1989 invasion of Panama. Manuel Noriega would be convicted in 1992 and sentenced to 40 years imprisonment. Upon completion of his sentence he would be extradited from the United States to France to receive a second term of imprisonment. Manuel Noriega died of natural causes on 5/29/2017. He was 83.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: The envelope is completely handwritten in Noriega's unusual handwriting style, postmarked 4/9/2010, just over two weeks before he was extradited to France. The envelope comes in a protective comic book sleeve with an acid free board and has been stored flat. Message me with any questions you might have. Thanks for having a look-see.
