Description

This auction is for a letter from deceased Washington serial killer Joseph Kondro. In 1997, Joseph Kondro was in jail facing child rape and molestation and rape charges in relation to three young girls ages seven, nine, and 10, when the body of a 12-year-old girl was found beneath an abandoned car. Joseph Kondro was linked to the victim through DNA evidence. Between 1982 and 1996, Joseph Kondro was believed to have raped and murdered at least three young girls, the other two being eight-years-old. In 1999, he would plead guilty to two murders in order to escape the death penalty. Law enforcement believed Joseph Kondro had other child victims. Joseph Kondro died on 5/3/2012. He was 52.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is three pages on two sheets, dated 5/14/2006, and is signed, "Tatonka AKA Joseph, J.R. Kondro," with a little buffalo drawing. There is a little mountain range draw at the top of the first page. The original mailing envelope is postmarked 5/15/2006.
