This was part of the few items he kept until his execution. He penned on the inside right before being executed a farewell message to his wife.
He is telling her good bye and writes he will always be there In spirt with her. To keep this bible with her to stay close to god…When it will be her time 10-50 years later he will be there waiting to lead her in the afterlife. A very chilling and as good as it can get true crime collectible related to an execution. Read the page he wrote on the inside it will give you an overall of how he was before being executed.
His wife received his personnal items after his execution to find this great piece that she kept for a longtime before deciding to part with. He prayed with this bible until the transfer to the execution room.
Also a letter from her talking about this bible will be included.
