Description

This auction is for a Christmas card from condemned Nebraska murderer John Lawrence Lotter. On 12/31/1993, John Lotter, with accomplice Marvin Nissen, murdered three people. One of the victims was a transgender man, who the pair had raped several days earlier. Both men would be arrested and Marvin Nissen agreed to testify against John Lotter in exchange for a life sentence. John Lotter would be sentenced to death on 2/21/1996. The case was eventually made into the Hollywood movie Boys Don't Cry.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: The card is dated 12/25/2005, and is signed, "Lawrence." The original mailing envelope is postmarked 12/24/2005 with a Nebraska Department of Corrections stamp. The card and envelope come inside a protective magazine sleeve with an acid free board and have been stored flat. Message me with any questions you might have. Thanks for having a look-see.
