This auction is for a letter from condemned California serial killer Mr. Steven David Catlin. From 1976 to 1984 four of Catiln's wifes and family members died rather suddenly, most of which were quickly cremated at Catlin's requests. After suspicion was raised medical tests found traces of poison in several tissue samples retained by the hospital. Catlin would be charged on 12/23/1995 of murder and convicted of three murders in two counties. He would ultimately be sentenced to death 6/6/1990. Catlin is currently on death row at San Quentin State Prison awaiting execution.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is two pages on two sheets, dated 4/10/2006, and signed, "Steve."
