This auction is for a letter from "Vampire Clan" ringleader Roderick Justin Ferrell. Ferrell was part of group of teenagers from Kentucky who called themselves the "Vampire Clan". On 11/25/1996, while the group was on a road trip, Rodrick "Rod" Ferrell, and accomplice Howard Anderson, murdered a couple in Florida. The entire group ended up getting arrested and charged. Ferrell was sentenced to death, later reduced to life. Anderson was sentenced to life. Despite little-to-no knowledge or participation in the actual murders travel companions Charity Keesee received 10 years, Cooper received 17.5 years. Both women have since paroled.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is three pages on two sheets, dated 4/25/2004, and signed, "Rod." The original mailing envelope is not postmarked, but it does have a red Florida State Correctional Institution stamp on the front. The letter and envelope come inside a protective magazine sleeve with an acid free board and have been stored flat. Message me with any questions you might have. Thanks for having a look-see.
