Description

This auction is for a letter from the deceased father Washington serial killer Robert Lee Yates, Jr., Robert Lee Yates, Sr. (9/1/1941 - 4/21/2020). Between 1996 and 1998, Yates, Jr. killed at least 13 women. He is suspected in additional homicides, dating back to 1975. Yates would be arrested on 4/18/2000. In 2001, he would ultimately plead guilty to 13 murders in order to escape the death penalty. In 2001, he was convicted of two additional murders and sentenced to death. That death sentence would be commuted to life without parole after Washington State abolished the death penalty. Yates, Sr. passed away 4/21/2020. He was 79.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: The art print is just a simple black and what copy of a religious poem by Yates, Jr. Just so everyone is on the same page, this is a letter from father of the Robert Yates, Jr. The original mailing envelope is postmarked 2/21/2006.
