This auction is for a letter from Georgia serial killer Judith Ann Adams Neelly. In 1982, Neelly, with husband Alvin Neelly, abducted, raped, tortured, and murdered two young girls. A third male victim survived being shot and was able to identify the pair. The Neellys would be arrested three weeks later in Tennessee. Alvin quickly agreed to cooperate with prosecutors, receiving a life sentence. In 2005 he would die in prison. Judith would be sentenced to death, despite a jury recommendation for life imprisonment. She became the youngest female on death row in America. In 1999, just days away from execution, she sentenced was commuted to life with the possibility of parole.
