Description

This auction is for a letter from multiple state serial killer John Francis Wille. Between 1980 and 1985, Wille murdered six people in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, and Texas. After being arrested for setting his former residence on fire, Wille's girlfriend and accomplice Judith Walters started spilling the beans. Wille would be convicted of murder in Florida and the rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl in Louisiana. His death sentence would be overturned and Wille took a plea deal for life imprisonment. In a separate trial Judith Walters would receive a life sentence for her role in the crimes.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is three pages on two legal size sheets of stationery, dated 12/23/1997, and is signed, "John F." Lots of case talk here. Wille has sent a book order form with the letter. The original mailing envelope is postmarked 12/29/1997. The letter, form, and envelope all come in a protective magazine sleeve with an acid free board and have been stored flat, the letter being folded once. Message me with any questions you might have.
