Description

This auction is for a letter from executed Alabama serial killer Jack Harrison Trawick (2/18/1947 – 6/11/2009). On 10/29/1996, Trawick was arrested in connection with one rape and murder. He would ultimately be convicted of two murders and sentenced to death. Trawick confessed to a number of murders during his incarceration but no other convictions followed. He suffered from sever mental illness, those close to him suggest he was only responsible for the two murders he was convicted. Trawick was executed on 6/11/2009. He was 61

ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is 12 pages on six sheets, dated 1/1/1998, and signed, "J." The original mailing envelope is postmarked 1/5/1998. There is a black Alabama State Prison stamp on the front of the envelope with, "Happy Holidays," written by Trawick. The letter and envelope come inside a protective magazine sleeve with an acid free board and have been stored flat. Message me with any questions you might have. Thanks for having a look-see.
