Description

This auction is for a letter from the Washington "Werewolf Butcher" Jack Owen Spillman III. Between 1994 and 1995, Spillman murdered three young women and girls. His first known victim 9-year-old. She was buried, her corpse found posed. The following year he brutally raped and murder woman and her daughter, again posing the corpses. Spillman became a suspect and would ultimately be arrested and plead guilty to in the string of murders in order to escape the death penalty. He was sentenced to life without parole.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is two pages on one sheet and signed, "Jack." The essay is two pages on one sheet, titled You Live Or You Die, and signed, "Jack Spillman." There are also three pages on legal paperwork. The original mailing envelope is postmarked 5/1/2006 with a Washington State Department of Corrections stamp on the reverse. The letter/envelope/extras come inside a protective magazine sleeve with an acid free board and have been stored flat. Message me with any questions you might have. Thanks for having a look-see.
