Herbert Richard Baumeister(April 7, 1947 – July 3, 1996) was an Americanserial killer fromWestfield,Indiana, near Indianapolis. Baumeister committed suicidebefore he could be brought to trial, and never confessed to the crimes he was alleged to have committed, including the murder of the 11 men whose corpses were found buried on his property.
