Dr. Anton LaVey photo signed by Nick Bougas 4"×6"

This auction is for a photograph of Dr. Anton Szandor LaVey signed by the photographer himself, Mr. Nick Bougas. LaVey and Bougas shouldn't need introductions here, but for those of you not knowin' Owens, let me fill you in some. Anton LaVey founded the California-based Church of Satan in 1966. He penned numerous books throughout his life, including The Satanic Bible. He rubbed shoulders with Charles Manson assoicate Susan Atkins and claimed to have briefly met "Night Stalker" Richard Ramirez. Nick Bougas, who was LaVey's personal photographer, was also a film director and illustrator, including working with Mr. Jim Goad on the, now infamous, Answer Me! magazine. He has a healthy list of true crime accomplishments under his belt, being one of the first to market autographs from notorious inmates like Charles Manson and John Wayne Gacy. Bougas, being so close to the LaVeys, had considerably more access to the family than most, capturing rare moments such as this on fim. Dr. Anton Szandor LaVey died on 10/29/1997. Nick Bougas moved from Los Angeles and is now rumored to be living somewhere south of the Mason-Dixon line.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: The photograph was originally shot in the 1980's, from the personal collection of Nick Bougas. The photograph is a standard 4"×6", printed on Kodak photo paper, and is matte finish. The image is crisp and clean! The photo was taken at the Golden State Park, San Francisco. The photo is signed on the reverse, "Anton LaVey photo by Nick Bougas." The photograph comes inside a protective comic book sleeve with an acid free board.
