This auction is for a photograph signed by "The Toy-Box Killer" accomplice Ms. Cindy Hendy. Although no bodies were ever discovered, it is believed that Mr. David Parker Ray used his sound-proofed torture chamber, he referred to as "The Satan's Den," to murder as many as 60 women. Law enforcement dubbed the truck trailer "The Toy Box." Hendy was his then girlfriend and accomplice. On 3/22/1999, while supervising one of the "sex slaves," Hendy managed to lose sight of the keys and she was able to escape, breaking the case. Ray was sentenced to 225 years for a handful of crimes while Hendy received a sentence of 36 years in exchange for her agreed testimony. And while the case did not receive a lot of media attention, largely due to Ray's death 5/28/2002 and the lack of evidence, it's one of America's most interesting cases of extreme sexual sadism.
