This auction is for a photograph of California's "Riverside Prostitute Killer" William Lester Suff. Mr. Suff, also known as the "Lake Elsinore Killer," is one one of California's higher body count serial murders. His case was drastically overshadowed in the press by the arrest and trial of Hollywood socialite and sports star Mr. O.J. Simpson. Suff was born Bill Lee Suff, a point he likes to make, insisting his name is NOT legally "William." While married and living in Texas he was convicted of beating his two-month-old daughter to death in 1974. He ended up severing 10 of his 70 year sentence. Apparently it was two years before Suff was at it again, this time targeting prostitutes. Arrested on 1/9/1992, prosecutors charged Suff with the rape and murder of 13 women. Stabbing and strangulation was the main method of murder, with some victim mutilation. The jury returned 12 guilty verdicts on 7/19/1995. He would be sentenced to death on 10/26/1995. It has been alleged that Suff used the breast of one of his victims in his chili, which won the "Riverside County Employee Chili Cook-Off," a charge he flatly denies. The convicted killer is suspected in murdering at least 10 additional women. Despite mountains of evidence against him he has maintained his innocence, stating his never killed anyone at any point in his life. Suff remains on death in San Quentin State Prison awaiting execution by lethal injection. In that time his remained disciplinary free and is considered a model prisoner.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: The photograph is a first generation copy made from the original Polaroid, so this is not a copy of a copy of a copy. A professional photo printing machine was used, not a home computer printer or the like. The quality is crisp and sharp, like the original, ideal for professional framing with your favorite Suff keepsake or even alone. It's cut to look like a Polaroid, just over 3.5"4.5", in matte finish, with the actual image 3"×3.25". Message me with any questions you might have. Thanks for having a look-see.
