This auction is a photograph of California "Sunset Strip Slayer" Mr. Douglas Clark. In 1980 Clark, with accomplice Ms. Carol Bundy, went on a sadistic murder spree targeting mostly young girls for rape and murder. The case has elements of necrophilia. The pair are credited with killing at least seven victims. Bundy ended up being the weak link and started a dialogue with law enforcement that resulted in their arrest. Clark claimed he was innocent, with little to no knowledge of the of the crimes seemingly to be happening all around him. Bundy struck a deal with prosecutors in order to escape the death penalty, which Clark received in 1983 with her testimony. Clark continues to maintain his innocence and is currently very active in his appeal. Bundy died of natural causes while serving life in prison in 2003.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: The photograph is a first generation copy made from the original Polaroid, so this is not a copy of a copy of a copy. A professional photo printing machine was used, not a home computer printer or the like. The quality is crisp and sharp, like the original, ideal for professional framing with your favorite Clark keepsake or even alone. It's cut to look like a Polaroid, just over 3.5"4.5", in matte finish, with the actual image closer to 3"×3.25". Message me with any questions you might have. Thanks for having a look-see.
