Offered here is an amazing piece of crime history, this receipt is signed by the father of HH Holmes, Levi Horton Mudgett. Some historians attribute Holmes violent nature partially to the abuse he endured at the hands of his violent alcoholic father. This receipt was signed when Holmes was only 6 years old, during the time of his turbulent upbringing. This man created a monster, and anything related to Holmes or his father, does not exist outside of museums. That is until now! A great piece for your own little museum!
