| This auction is for a toothbrush crafted in a California county correctional facility. With inmates making weapons out of the most basic of items, including toothbrushes, some facilities have elected to only offer "finger toothbrushes," which is a little set of plastic bristles that covers the end of a finger tip. Needless to say you can't get a very good cleaning with them. So if an inmate wants to get a more comfortable and thorough cleaning he or she will have to fashion a toothbrush such as this one. This toothbrush was made with a tightly rolled canteen order sheet, the plastic wrap that the lunch bread came in, a cut "finger toothbrush," and some floss. It was constructed by a California skinhead inmate and brought out of the jail by an inmate being released purposely to be sold here on Murder Auction. It hasn't been used.
