| This auction is for a letter from deceased Texas serial killer Henry Lee Lucas. While only convicted of three murders, Lucas confessed to over 600, a confession he later recanted. Originally sentenced to death, Lucas was pardoned by then Texas Govenor George W. Bush, the only death sentence Bush would commute. Maybe the two were old friends? Lucas died in 2001 of heart failure. The letter is to Lucas's girlfriend and one-time fiance Phyllis Wilcox, two pages on two legal sheets, dated 9/4/1998, and signed in full, "Henry Lee Lucas."
