This auction is for dirt from the backyard of deceased serial killer Dorothea Puente. Puente ran a boarding house in Sacramento, CA, during the 1980s. It is alleged that she killed her boarders in order to steal their Social Security checks. Five bodies were found in Dorothea's backyard, with two in the front yard. I collected this dirt from a neighbor's backyard along the fence line, the only place you can get dirt from the back yard since it has been covered with cement.
