| This auction is for a letter from Nevada killer David Middleton. Middleton was a Miami police officer until he was convicted of raping a 16-year-old. After spending a little time in prison he was paroled and moved to Nevada. There he killed two women in 1984 and 1985 who resembled his young victim from Florida. He was sentenced to death. Middleton is a suspected serial killer being linked to at least one murder in Colorado. The letter is two pages on one sheet, dated 4/14/2006, and signed, "David." The original mailing envelope is postmarked 5/15/2006. Perhaps Middleton got his months wrong? That or maybe the prison took their time getting this missive on the way? There is a prison stamp on the reverse of the envelope that dated 5/14/2006, which would suggest that Middleton did infact get his dates mixed up. However, your guess is as good as mine.
