| This auction is for a large piece of artwork from Alaskan double murderer Carl Abuhl. Abuhl was already serving a life sentence for murder in 2004 when he decided to strangle his cellmate to death. Apparently the cellmate wanted to talk about his case all day, which was killing his mother. Since he has been kept in segregation. Abuhl is the only inmate in the State of Alaska to have murdered another inmate. Abuhl has been interviewed several times on MSNBC's Lock Up television series. The piece is a handsome 17"X11" and done in pen on manila folder. It is signed in full in the bottom left corner, "Carl W. Abuhl," and titled, "Blue Lightning." With the type of pens available for Abuhl to work with I can't even begin to imagine how many hours he spent on this. Message me with any questions you might have. Thanks for looking. |
