| This auction is for a cut of hair and a letter from deceased New York serial killer Arthur Shawcross, "The Genesee River Killer." Shortly after returning home from a tour of duty in Vietnam Shawcross murdered an 11-year-old boy and raped and murdered an 8-year-old girl. Shawcross managed to get a plea deal for manslaughter and was sentenced to 25 years in prison. He was paroled in less then 15 years. From there Shawcross went on to murder prostitutes. From March of 1988 to December of 1989 Shawcross murdered at least 11 women. Shawcross claimed to have cannibalized some of his victims. Post-mortem mutilations tend to support those claims. He died in November of 2008. The hair is taped to an intex card, dated 8/17/2002, and signed in full, "Arthur J. Shawcross." The letter is four pages on two sheets, dated 8/17/2002, and signed, "Arthur." The original mailing envelope is postmarked 8/19/2002. Message me with any questions you might have.
